Third on my café list was Take a Breath Cafe & Eatery, located in a quieter Bangkok neighborhood around 11 kilometers away from the city center.
The Café
The moment I first saw this place online, I was genuinely stunned.
Its overall design immediately reminded me of those old barn houses I usually see in movies or television shows — rustic, cozy, countryside-like — but elevated with a modern architectural touch. The entire property is divided into multiple interconnected “barns” separated by wide open lawns and courtyards, making the whole place feel like a hidden rustic escape away from Bangkok’s busy atmosphere.
From the entrance, the kitchen is situated on the right side while the eatery is located on the left. Once you walk further inside, the café itself sits in the middle area, beside the iconic bell tower, while a spacious open lawn stretches beautifully in front of it.

Because of its huge and well-designed space, truthfully, a perfect venue for social gatherings and events such as weddings, birthdays, corporate conferences, and other celebrations.
And coincidentally, when I visited the place, there was actually an ongoing wedding reception.
Thankfully though, visitors were still allowed to stay and enjoy the café area. Tables and chairs were already arranged beautifully on the open lawn while guests temporarily gathered in the conference area waiting for sunset before officially starting the evening program.
Frankly, the atmosphere felt very cinematic.
You could literally feel how versatile and relaxing the place was — peaceful enough for casual café hopping yet elegant enough for intimate celebrations.

One thing to note though: whenever there’s a private event happening, the eatery sometimes becomes unavailable for regular guests. But thankfully, across the parking lot, there’s another restaurant serving delicious food and drinks. I actually decided to eat there first before entering the café itself.

As for the café area, it’s not overly huge indoors and has a more rectangular layout, but the overall ambiance, architecture, and surroundings easily make up for it. The entire place feels thoughtfully designed, making every corner visually pleasing and relaxing at the same time.

The Food
Take a Breath Cafe & Eatery offers a mix of Italian-inspired European dishes, traditional Thai cuisine, and all-day brunch selections that perfectly complement the café’s cozy atmosphere.
They also have several signature dishes that immediately caught my attention while browsing the menu. One of them was their Truffle Pasta & Risotto — creamy, earthy, rich, and aromatic just by the appearance alone. Honestly, it already looked comforting even before taking a bite.
Another crowd favorite is their homemade pizza, prepared with thin-crust wood-fired dough and topped with premium ingredients such as Prosciutto di Parma and Four Cheese combinations. Yes, “Four Cheese” literally made me say the words out loud too because honestly… why settle for one cheese when you can have four? 😅
They also serve the Take A Breath Truffle Beef Burger — a juicy beef patty layered with the café’s signature truffle sauce that already sounded dangerously delicious from the description itself.
As for the beverages, you can really tell they invested in high-quality roasted coffee and aesthetically pleasing drinks. They offer refreshing mocktails such as the Grapefruit Sour Honey and Hurricane, both looking visually attractive and perfect for Bangkok’s warm weather.

But despite all those tempting menu items, I surprisingly ordered none from that list 😅.
Instead, I kept things simple and went for a Spanish latte paired with two butter croissants — and honestly, it was the perfect choice for my palate that day.
The Spanish latte tasted smooth, creamy, and comforting, while the butter croissants were flaky, soft, and satisfying with every bite. Sometimes, simple café orders end up becoming the most enjoyable ones, especially when paired with a relaxing atmosphere and good company — or even just your own peaceful moment alone.
How to Get There
Getting to Take a Breath Cafe & Eatery from CentralWorld usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on Bangkok traffic. Since the café is located near Phutthamonthon Sai 1 in a quieter part of the city, the easiest and most convenient option would be booking a direct taxi or using ride-hailing applications like Grab or Bolt.
As for me, I decided to book a motorbike ride through the Bolt app. I simply pinned my current location, entered the café’s address, and let the rider navigate the rest of the trip.
The fare usually ranges around ฿100–฿150, though it can still vary depending on traffic conditions and peak hours. And honestly, if you’re traveling alone and comfortable riding motorbikes, it’s actually one of the fastest ways to get around Bangkok without getting stuck too long in traffic jams.

So there — another café officially checked off my list.
Although this café is located a bit farther from Bangkok’s busy city center, I can confidently say that the trip going there is completely worth it.
Sometimes, the best places are the ones hidden away from the usual crowded streets, towering buildings, endless traffic noise, and fast-paced atmosphere of the city. And honestly, Take a Breath Cafe & Eatery gives exactly that kind of feeling — like a quiet escape where you can temporarily slow down and simply breathe for a while.
What makes the place special for me is its modern barn-house aesthetic mixed with relaxing countryside-inspired surroundings. The open spaces, earthy architecture, wide lawns, and rustic structures somehow create this comforting atmosphere that feels far from Bangkok even though you’re technically still within the city.
It’s the kind of place where you can casually sip coffee while appreciating the silence, hearing soft background conversations, watching the sunlight hit the open lawn beautifully, and forgetting city stress for a moment.
Because sometimes, it’s no longer just about trying good coffee or tasting pastries — it’s about discovering places that give comfort, calmness, and a different kind of experience you normally wouldn’t get from the usual cafés inside malls or commercial districts.
So if you’re someone who appreciates cozy countryside vibes, modern barn-inspired architecture, aesthetic open spaces, and peaceful cafés away from the city rush, then this place definitely deserves a spot on your Bangkok café list.
